"ARE YOU 'SEARCHING'?"

Are you 'searching' everywhere
to fill that void in you?
Running to & fro
& don't know what to do?
Where do you turn, my friend
to sex & booze & drugs?
Or maybe -rich - high living
or keeping company ~ with 'thugs'!
Folks inventing 'things' & 'places'
we can go to escape,
Yet that 'void' still stays
& keeps us from ~ That 'Gate'!
The Gate into 'Heaven'
& a life of 'PEACE' down here,
For there is only ONE
Who can fill that void, my dear!
It is: JESUS CHRIST ~ ALONE
just Himself, you see,
Not even what He offers us
can satisfy ~ indeed.
For some go to Church on Sunday
& even during the week,
But, unless they seek Him for Himself
they'll continue to remain weak!
Full surrender to God's Will
& getting to Love Christ well,
Is the ONLY WAY to overcome
that 'VOID' ~ & ~ hell!
Agree with God
when He tells you what you are,
Don't struggle to 'keep face'
but be 'real' ~ & go far!
God will raise you up
if you'll humble be,
And the only place for ~that~
is down upon your knee!
Then JOY will 'overflow'
that VOID in you ~ no more,
As our sins were washed away
& our hearts ~ He did restore.
Each day is now SWEETER
than the day before,
Because we FOUND ~ JESUS ~
& His 'CALL' ~ did not ignore!

Won't YOU 'REACH OUT & TOUCH HIM' ~ TODAY?
I am so glad I did, but sad that I waited so long to do it.
Oh, my friend, don't let the trivial things of life keep YOU
from a 'CLOSER WALK' with JESUS ~ HIMSELF!
(See Ephesians 3:19 TLB)-"...at last you will be 'filled up'
with GOD Himself."
