" 'DEPART' OR 'STAY'?"

Precious Heavenly Father
You mean so much to me,
I wish that I could prove it
by giving my ALL to Thee.
But, I 'mess up' all the time
failing so many 'Tests',
Going round & round
failing to give my 'best'!
If I had a stronger body
I could lend a helping hand,
But, I'm becoming so very useless
as this 'body' I can't command.
Growing tired & weary
but so much 'work' yet to do,
I need Your Strength Lord Jesus
to - daily - see me through!
I, like Paul, am torn between *
to 'depart' or 'stay behind',
As I am not convinced my 'staying'
will be of 'help'of any kind.
But, one thing is for sure
whatever 'God' chooses for me,
CHRIST will be 'exalted' *
in this tired old bo-dy!
I must not ever give in
to 'self-pity' or the 'devil',
As he would like me to 'give up'
& stay down on this level.
Never 'coming up higher'
to reach my 'full' potential,
Working for my 'Savior'
being very 'Reverential'!
For the 'Reverential' fear of God
brings Hope & Joy anew,
Refreshing us to - 'go on'
so we can - help you! *
