God LONGS to remake us
into the ‘Image’ of His Son,
He’s just ‘waiting’ for us to
say: "Yes!" ~ & His works begun!
He’ll fashion us so carefully
yet we’ll ‘ouch’ & ‘yell’,
But, never say "STOP!"
& things will turn out swell.
One Day we’ll see JESUS
face to Face,
And we won’t be ashamed
& turn away in disgrace.
For we let Him re-shape us
& we’ll look in surprise,
As then we’ll see ‘His Image’
& it’s not a disguise!
What JOY it is
to be ‘shaped’ like CHRIST,
Even though it ‘hurts’
you can’t ‘beat’ the prize ~
ETERNAL JOY!
