“OUR ‘COMPANION’!”

Do you know someone
who can dry ‘away’ your tears?
Someone who can ‘free’ you
of that horror & those fears?
How about someone ~
who can bring you ‘rest & calm’?
Or someone who can ‘conquer’
over everything you’ve done wrong?
Or what about someone ~
who will come ~ ‘instantly’?
Fill your heart with Peace
& make those fears ~ flee?
Can you enter into their presence
at ‘any’ given moment?
Yet feel at ‘awe’ & joyful
& very, very ~ content?
Can they transform your day
from ‘darkness’ into light?
And at ‘will’ be there FOR you
in your deepest, darkest night?
Well, I know ‘Someone’
Who can do ALL of these,
My Precious ‘HEAVENLY’ FATHER
Who is my ‘Friend’, indeed!
Yes, a dear ‘Companion’
Who walks & talks with me,
Who turns my weary ‘grey’ days
into ~ sweet victory.
When I enter into His Presence
~ a decision of my will,
Only He can come ~ instantly ~
& give me ‘Peace be still’!
Only His Divine Love
can ‘overflow’ my being,
At ‘any’ given moment
& help me to be ‘seeing’!
‘Seeing’ things His Way
& how they ought to be,
So that I can ‘worship’ Him
& in my soul ~ be free!
Oh, how tender & Mighty
our Companion is ~ always,
Who’ll help us in the ‘little things’
every single day!
Yes, I said: Our ‘Companion’
for He longs to be your Friend,
All you need is to ‘Believe’ *
& ‘LOVE HIM’ till The End!
