"WE CAN'T FORGIVE 'OURSELVES'!"

What causes us to 'give up'
& 'quit' going on?
'Shame', 'remorse' & 'contempt' ~
of 'ourselves' ~ for sins WE have done!
We can't forgive 'ourselves'
for being 'weak' or 'falling',
When delayed or stopped right in our tracks ~
we don't hear The Master 'calling':
"Don't look back, My Child
nor weep & tend to dwell ~
On your past mistakes
but come to Me & tell.
'Tell' Me that you're sorry
& 'depending' on Me again,
That you want to 'continue' your Journey
because you are My friend." *
Be 'conscious' of God's Love *
& cast aside those 'heavy' weights, *
Yes, all your 'faults' & 'failures'
'shortcomings' & 'sad mistakes'.
Instead of ~ 'beating up' yourself
come to God in prayer, *
'Keep' your eyes on JESUS *
& know in your heart ~ He's THERE!
Just remember this one thing ~
there was only ONE 'Perfect' Man,
He came to Earth to DIE for you ~
yes ~ this was His 'PERFECT' PLAN! *
So PLEASE, get past this 'stage' in life
start 'fresh' again today,
'Yield' your ALL to Jesus *
& don't 'live' in sad dismay.
Like a runner in a race
who 'presses toward' his goal,
If he 'stopped' to dwell & weep
he'd soon 'lose' control!
Looking at all his 'mistakes'
instead of looking to the end ~
Would cost him 'the race'
& he would NOT win.
My best advice to you today
is to 'lighten up' your heart, *
Jesus HAS forgiven you
if you've done 'your' part. *
Forgive yourself, my friend
don't let Satan still accuse,
Look to your GOAL today *
with your brand new 'running shoes'! *
